Nature

“A man's power to connect his thought with its proper symbol, and so to utter it, depends on the simplicity of his character, that is, upon his love of truth, and his desire to communicate it without loss.”    ― Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nature

Nature is beautiful and I chose this picture because well, this is nature. It's bright, full of life and is also a part or transcendentalism in the sense of nature is just like us. We are apart of the same creation and have moods just like nature. Sometimes we actually act according to nature for example if its sunny we are happy and loveable as to if its raining we are sleepy and tired.

I chose the quote for two reasons first, because Ralph Emerson is one Transcendentalist that always seems to have deep and meaningful quotes. Second, is that this quote caught my eye for many reasons. The quote to me meant that you should have some self-confidence in your thought connecting with a major branch of Transcendentalism. He is saying not to be afraid when you come to a moment in your life that you need to look in your heart to find the truth. The real truth.
